Xiaomi launched its first all-metal devices the Redmi Note 3 and Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet is Android OS-based. It has two fixed storage alternatives: 16GB and 64GB. 16GB Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet is priced at 999 Yuan (roughly $160) while 64GB will cost you 1,299 Yuan (roughly $200) . Xiaomi Mi Pad 2’s aluminium body is 6.95mm and weighs 322 grams. It has 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixels) resolution IPS display. It will be available in Dark Grey and Champagne Gold colour alternatives.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is substituted by a new 2.24GHz quad-core 14nm Intel Atom X5-Z8500 64-bit processor. Its Intel HD Graphics is replaced by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. It has 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The connectivity options of Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 are WiFi 802.11 ac (Dual Band), WiFi Direct, USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 4.1. The Tablet has 6010mAh (minimum) and 6190mAh (typical) battery package. Its 6190mAh battery will support up to 648.8 hours of standby time.
