Micromax’s second invention Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 is one of the cheapest ‘selfie’ smartphones. It was made on the same theme of Micromax. The soft-rubber finishing of the sides along with the rougher texture of the back panel has made it comfortable to hold. This technique has made it possible to hold it with firm grip. The phone is 9mm thick which has made it comfortably light.
Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Review
Its battery 2000mAh is removable. Because of the low resolution display, the battery supports a great deal. It has two 3G SIM slots as well as a microSD card. The MicroSD card supports up to 32GB. There is a modular charger, screen guard, instruction booklet and in-ear headset for you. The selfie camera contains a 5-megapixel antenna. It works wonderfully under good lighting but it does not have auto focus or flash to assist you in low light. You have smile detection option to take your photo automatically when you smile.
The phone has quad-core Mediatek MT6582M SoC powering with maximum speeds 1.3GHz, 8GB on board storage (4.74GB actually usable) and 1GB RAM. You will also get Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM radio, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0.
The pre-installed apps of Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 are AppBazaar, Chaatz, Scandid, App Center, M!Live, NewsHunt, SnapDeal. It also has apps like Quikr, SwiftKey, Kindle, Hotstar, and Clean Master. You can uninstall the third-party apps. But you can’t uninstal the three app stores.
In Bangladesh, you will get the smartphone in BDT 8490 Tk.
